Club News

 
As we mourn the sudden loss of our fellow club member Jack Connor, we also give thanks to his family. The Connor family graciously donated a large amount of Jack’s RC airplanes to the club. As a result, the club held a member-only auction which raised nearly $1600. That money was used to construct the much-needed Jack Connor Memorial Charging Station. (see below)  RIP Captain Jack, your memory lives on here at the field.

solo pilot success

A special congratulations to Jackson and Mike (Jackson’s father) Gargiulo for both passing their solo test the same day!  Jackson was mostly self taught by spending hour after hour on his simulator, then came to our field to fly for the first time and needed little to no instruction.  Very impressed with this family duo!

Who has a new plane?

Another beauty from Michael Myers. His Westland Lysander is featured in the August edition of Model Aviation magazine.

7:00 am until sunset for electric aircraft.

Monday through Saturday 9:00 am until sunset for single and multi-cylinder wet fueled aircraft. 

Sunday 10:00 am until sunset for single and multi-cylinder wet fueled aircraft.
