Club News

 
As we mourn the sudden loss of our fellow club member Jack Connor, we also give thanks to his family. The Connor family graciously donated a large amount of Jack’s RC airplanes to the club. As a result, the club held a member-only auction which raised nearly $1600. That money was used to construct the much-needed Jack Connor Memorial Charging Station. (see below)  RIP Captain Jack, your memory lives on here at the field.

solo pilot success

Congratulations to Rudlan Pena (Right along with his instructor Bruce Suarez) on his solo flight! Rudlan really impressed us all as he displayed nerves of steel during his solo.  Awesome job Rudlan, looking forward to seeing you fly a lot in the near future!

Who has a new plane?

Another beauty from Michael Myers. His Westland Lysander is featured in the August edition of Model Aviation magazine.

Monday through Saturday 9:00 am until sunset for single and multi-cylinder wet fueled aircraft.
